PLACES OF POVERTY
People living in areas of poverty are almost always suffering from food inequality. Sadly poverty and food inequality go hand in hand and situations of poverty can be found in every continent and to some extent, in most countries.
THE HOMELESS
Homeless people very commonly suffer from food inequality as they struggle fiancially to be able to buy nutritious food. Often the food consumed by the homeless is found in bins or other scrap sites. This puts thier health in serious jeopardy aswell as thier hygiene.
ISOLATED AND RURAL GROUPS
These groups don't have equal access to food compared to people living in the city, making thier food supply more limited and more costly to access. Transporting the food may not only be costly but also degrades the freshness.
PEOPLE WITH A LOW INCOME
People that have little or no income will only be able to buy cheap food which in most cases is processed and not as nutritious. Raising healthy kids is ussually very costly and can be near impossible in a country of poverty with little income causing an influx in malnutrition resulting in high child mortality rates.
